What is Gestational Surrogacy?

- Understanding Your Team: A surrogacy journey involves a dedicated village. We will help you assemble and coordinate with your IVF clinic, independent legal counsel, an escrow manager, and mental health professionals.
- Application & Profile Creation: We’ll guide you in creating a personal “Intended Parent Profile” to share with potential surrogates, helping to build a genuine connection from the start.

- Our Rigorous Screening: Every xBaby surrogate completes a detailed application and undergoes a thorough medical record review before you ever see a profile.
- The “Match Meeting”: This is a pivotal, facilitated meeting where you and a potential surrogate connect to discuss communication styles, pregnancy expectations, and birth preferences. It’s about ensuring mutual comfort and alignment.
- Medical & Legal Clearance: Once a match is agreed upon, the surrogate undergoes comprehensive medical screening at your IVF clinic for final clearance. Following this, we coordinate the legal process where each party has their own attorney to create a fair and clear Gestational Carrier Agreement, achieving legal clearance.
- Beginning the Transfer Process: Upon legal clearance, the medical cycle begins, leading to the embryo transfer.
We manage the logistics so you can focus on the growing relationship and excitement.
- Pregnancy Support: After a successful transfer, we provide continuous support through every appointment and milestone. Your dedicated case manager is your constant point of contact.

Financial Transparency
The estimated cost for agency services, legal work, insurance, surrogate expenses, and other dedicated support is approximately $94,500. This is separate from your surrogate’s base compensation, which is a direct payment for her commitment and care, and typically ranges from $55,000 to $120,000+ based on her experience and individual circumstances. The total estimated range for a standard journey is between $150,000 and $215,000+. This estimate is for a 12-month journey with one embryo transfer and excludes IVF clinic and newborn medical costs.

These are not paid upfront but are detailed so you can plan with full awareness.
